Polytronix has been manufacturing custom LCDs for over 30 years. With deep heritage in monochrome cell engineering, you can count on us with custom applications that off-the-shelf modules cannot serve.

Our custom LCDs and LCMs are used worldwide, from general-purpose thermostats to highly customized cockpit displays. Capabilities span extreme environmental conditions, custom-shaped glass, glass-thinning technology, touch-panel integration, and custom backlighting. The shop's custom-glass technology is continually improving and evolving to meet customer requirements — every project begins with the host product's mechanical, optical, and operating-environment requirements and produces a panel engineered against them.

Common custom dimensions of work include non-rectangular and irregular-shape glass cells; ultra-thin cells produced with our glass-thinning process; cockpit-grade Dichroic, Heilmeier, FMTN, and PWTN cell technologies; segmented and dot-matrix layouts; custom backlight color and uniformity; and integrated touch and bonded cover-glass stacks. Programs range from high-volume consumer thermostats to single-digit-volume cockpit standby displays for legacy aircraft.
