Active-matrix TFT-LCDs from 0.96 in to 15.0 in with sunlight-readable, ruggedized, anti-glare, LOCA-bonded, and touch-integrated configurations across LVDS, MIPI, RGB, SPI, USB, and I2C interfaces.
Polytronix makes custom active-matrix TFT-LCD modules — the PT-series — from 0.96 in to 15.0 in, 200 to 950 nits, in LVDS, MIPI, RGB, SPI, USB, and I2C interfaces, with sunlight-readable, ruggedized, anti-glare, LOCA-bonded, and capacitive or resistive touch configurations.
Overview
Thin-Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Displays continue to gain ground due to increasing size availability, user-interface flexibility, end-user appeal, and continual R&D investment from cell suppliers and module integrators. At Polytronix we offer a growing roster of standard industry sizes — the PT-series — and continue to add sizes as new cell families become available. All TFT standards can be modified to fit customer specifications.
Common configuration options include ruggedized builds; sunlight readability; anti-glare and anti-reflective surface treatments; extended temperature ranges; LVDS, MIPI, RGB, SPI, USB, and I2C host interfaces; capacitive and resistive touch panels; Optically Bonded Touch Panel (LOCA) integration that eliminates the air gap between display and cover glass; monochrome TFT; and wearable ultra-thin TFT for slim industrial-design products. Brightness configurations span 200 to 950 nits across the active-matrix range.
Polytronix also offers a TFT Development Board designed and preprogrammed to work with selected standard TFT modules. A preloaded micro-SD card can easily be loaded with custom images, and the included instruction manual gets engineering teams to a working prototype faster than building a host interface from scratch.
