Overview

Polytronix designs and manufactures NVIS-compatible instrument lighting systems for aerospace and defense platforms requiring reliable illumination performance under demanding operational conditions. Our lighting capabilities support cockpit backlighting, illuminated panels, indicator lighting, annunciators, edge-lighted assemblies, flood lighting, and integrated display backlighting for both fixed-wing and rotary-wing applications.

We manufacture LED-based lighting assemblies designed for long operational life, vibration resistance, dimming performance, and compatibility with night-vision imaging systems (NVIS). Assemblies support cockpit and mission-system environments requiring controlled luminance, sunlight readability, low-profile integration, and environmental durability across military and aerospace platforms.

Our instrument-lighting capabilities include edge-lighted panels, illuminated pushbutton switches, annunciators, indicator bezels, integrated LED display systems, and custom lighting assemblies integrated into control panels, displays, consoles, and electro-mechanical systems. Depending on customer requirements, assemblies may incorporate multi-color illumination, dimming controls, integrated drivers, low-profile packaging, or replacement LED technologies for legacy incandescent systems.

Polytronix supports lighting integration for cockpit systems, mission consoles, avionics interfaces, operator panels, display assemblies, and simulator platforms requiring ruggedized performance and long-term operational reliability.
